NOMINATE A TWA ALLY*
TO THE WHAT ALLIANCE
Know someone who would make an amazing TWA Ally? Please DO NOT make direct introductions in-person or via email or text. While we appreciate the enthusiasm, we adhere to a discerning evaluation process to ensure that all candidates align with our needs and values.
What Makes A Good TWA Ally?
We are always on the lookout for talented, powerful, generous, open-hearted, (fun) women of exceptional caliber whom you can VOUCH FOR AND who would add to and benefit from the discourse and collaboration inside The What Alliance. Every member must be a big thinker who wants to make an impact in the world especially in the lives of women. We are looking for leaders and visionaries who want to transcend categories, shift mindsets, transform or help other people/communities around them. We do not have strict prerequisites or qualifications to vet members but we do have a series of questions we ask ourselves to determine whether or not a candidate is a fit:
1. How many ways is this candidate diverse (demographically, geographically, professionally)
2. Are they someone you trust?
3. Is their current work or mission tied to a larger purpose to benefit the greater good?
4. Do they embody our values of generosity, respect, kindness, integrity, and openness?
5. Are they considered an expert in their field or have they trailblazed a new category?
6. Could they lead a Spark Session that will teach something to our group?
7. Can their connections and expertise contribute to our collective engine of change?
8. Will they refrain from self-promotion or trying to "mine" the group and instead focus more on really getting to know Allies before approaching them for anything.
9. Are they an icon or future icon?
10. Are they someone you enjoy hanging out with?
If the answer is YES to most of these questions, please fill out the nomination form below. We will not contact them directly, rather we will ask you for an introduction only after they’ve been approved by us and our TWA membership committee. Thank you so much for your nomination.
TWA is a private, confidential network. We do not talk about or discuss TWA with non-Allies. What happens in TWA, stays in TWA.
